Music's always been a big part of my life, but I seem to go through periods where I want as much of as many different types of music as possible. I want it to fill my ears and my car and my home. I want it to whisper to me as I work and beg me to sing with it when I'm alone.
A friend of mine got the movie Catch and Release for me, and I've pretty much fallen in love with it. The music in it is just fantastic. The first track on the soundtrack is a Foo Fighter's song called "Razor". Honestly, I'm not a Foo Fighters band. Dave Grohl is the only person I've ever known in the band, and he might as well have stopped existing the day Kurt Cobain committed suicide and Nirvana fell apart.
Now - I'm not saying that I'm against the Foo Fighters - I'm simply not into them. Or at least I wasn't into them until I heard this song. And you know - really, I'm still not into them. I'm just warming up to the idea that these guys might have something to offer.
Go ahead. Give it a listen. What do you think?

It's a great song. And honestly (I'm not trying to be pushy here) Foo Fighters are an insanely cool band. Dave Grohl is really one of the stand-up guys in the music biz.

This song? Amazing. I want to lie in a warm tub of this song lit by the candlelight of this song while sipping on hot tea made from this song. Yep. That about says it.
