Stupidity

You know - it's the damnedest thing - if the credit card you have on file with the hosting company isn't a valid card, it won't auto renew. And if you didn't update your email address, you don't get the, "We tried to bill you but couldn't so we're suspending your account" email.

My apologies for my blog being temporarily offline, but a big fat thanks to Chris and Blake for coming to the rescue and letting me know.

Moving on.

How many people do you think have "You did it!" congratulatory divorce cakes? Well for starters? I do. I think that I have told a whopping two of the internets of my pending divorce with James. Why, you ask? Because really - who the hell wants to talk about divorce? It's probably the least fun thing I've ever done, but it was for the best and it was amicable and now I feel very relieved that I am no longer hiding this big fat secret from you people.

Now. Who wants some cake?

I say any excuse for cake is a good one!

Yea you!

sarah :

I'd like a middle piece please. Perhaps one of the exclamation points.

I'm glad for you that it was amicable and it sounds like you're at peace with the whole ordeal.

Maggie :

That's a super pretty cake! We just had a Housewarming party this weekend and one of our friends make an awesome cake for us. I didn't have any, but it had polka dots and the names of all the roommates on it.

Oooh, I do I do! Congrats. Or whatever it is that's appropriate to say upon final divorce.

Chas :

I was wondering if that was all finalized yet, and I guess it is. Congratulations, lol!

Maggie :

I really thought I commented yesterday. Did the owner deem it an unworthy comment?

about the author

Emily (n.) 1983 - Present

A loud-laughing twenty-something female who prefers flip flops to all other shoes, yet has a closet full that go unworn. Can often be found in front of a computer screen designing websites or playing "The Sims". Hates messes, cancelled plans and loud volumes. Loves suffocating summer heat, peanut butter and jelly sandwiches (now with banana) and friends who know what you’re going to say before you ever open your mouth.

Warning: often speaks too quickly; listen carefully.
