Did you know that if you sit in your brand-new car with the daytime running lights on listening to the radio with the air blowing but the engine not actually started that your battery will run down in half an hour?
Did you also know that it's REALLY inconvenient when you realize that you have left your jumper cables in your garage because they just haven't made it into your brand-new trunk?
Did you know that you might feel really super embarrassed to call your most reliable friend and say, "Guess what stupid thing I've done, bring jumper cables"? And did you know that if your most reliable friend is as big of a rockstar as mine (though for some really strange reason, he says he is Batman), they will leave their yummy dinner and drive downtown to jump start your car.
So how was your day?
Oh, right - and here's the car... '07 Honda Accord Coupe EXL

Well, at least you didn't pay a total of $200 for a tow to the dealership to find out what was wrong, only to discover it was the battery. I did that last year.
See, there's always a bright side.

First of all, love the car!
Secondly, I've done that before. I did it when my dad bought me my very first car, and I couldn't drive it because (a) I didn't have my learners yet and (b) the car needed to be registered. So I sat in the driveway with the radio blaring, gripping the wheel and, well, pretending I was driving.
Then there was the time I went to leave work and realised that I must have accidentally knocked on the headlights that morning on the way out... 8 hours earlier. I couldn't drive the car for two days, the battery was that flat!

Pretty new car! I'll probably be getting a "new" car in the next few months, although not brand new, just new to me. I'm realizing I can't afford my "quarter life crisis" sports car that I bought in August of '06.

Nice ride. Still, a batter should last long than a half hour.
