I make my bed with six pillows, four of which never get slept on. Their sole purpose is to look pretty.
I'm starting to think this is a bit excessive.

Nope! It's all about making your bed look lovely and inviting. And if you need 34872 pillows to make it that way to you, then have at it!

Actually I don't think it's excessive...you need those extra pillows to prop up the other pillows.
