Hello, four and a half days of spending time with family and friends and otherwise doing absolutely nothing!!
My ultra-fabulous boss let us off today early giving us a chance to run last-minute errands and a few other things. I, for instance, am going shopping for a Christmas tree. I have a few other small things to take care of, but I am done with the daily grind for four and a half days.
Yesterday, we had weather in the eighties. Today? It's a crisp fifty fife outside. Bring on the family, bring on the turkey - let's give things and enjoy the time we have off!
What are you planning to do?

We're headed your way (well, a little east of you) tomorrow. And hoping that the cold front makes it our way soon.
The second batch of Chex Mix is almost done and then it'll be time to start the cookies.

I'm just planning on spending some time with my family and eating a lot....and then doing that all over again on Friday with J's family.

Well, down here in Oz we don't have Thanksgiving... but the Christmas trees are already out in force!
I actually bought a tree for myself and the other half a couple of weeks ago - despite the fact that we're still living with my parents and don't need our own tree yet. It's a black one though, absolutely gorgeous, and if I didn't get it this year, I know I wouldn't have been able to get one next year!
Your boss is very nice letting you go early! I've never had a boss do that before (might have something to do with the fact I worked for a complete and utter a... anyway.)
Enjoy your time off! And when you think it's not enough, just remember there's more turkey to be had in a couple of weeks!
