I do weird things in my sleep. I always have. As long as I can remember, people have called and woken me up in the middle of the night. I have carried on conversations and forgotten every word that was spoken as soon as I hung up the phone.
Lately, that's changed a bit. Now I end up responding to text messages, but my responses make zero sense. For instance - one night I wrote a friend and said something about leaving my phone on loud so that I could see them the next day. Um - what does one have to do with the other? No clue.
Similarly, I'm known to receive strange things in the middle of the night, largely due to inebriation. Sometime after midnight, I got the following series of texts from my friend, Rob:
Text Message #1:
Que Pasa?
Text Message #2:
Which means, “What's up” in the language of those folk down south.
Text Message #3:
Hola yo soy Roberto.
Notice that nowhere in there is a reply from me. No, no - he carried on this conversation with himself. Don’t you wish you had people to send you silly texts in the middle of the night? It’s an entertaining way to wake up every day, that's for sure.
But maybe you have something better! What's something silly that happens in your life?
(Hey - did you see that Chris got Chucks like mine?!)
