We’ve spent the past week preparing to and moving our office. It’s been nothing less than chaotic, but I think that things have finally settled down. Several of us were at work on Saturday, trying to get things set up, so that perhaps on Monday, life won’t be insanely hectic. Let’s hope that our theory worked out.
The space we’ve moved to is only temporary. We’ll be there until our permanent space is finished out and tailored to our needs. Meanwhile, we’ll be in this insanely large temp space. We went from roughly 5,000 square feet to 15,000 square feet. When all is said and done, we’ll be in 7,000 square feet. For now? We’re like kids in a candy store.
Our main room which is now home to the design department, project management and sales teams is huge. The room is so big, I really don’t know how to begin to give you the dimensions for it. It’s as long as a city block and really, really wide. Does that help any? Probably not. The solution to such a huge area? Razor scooters. That’s right, and we were all trying them out on Saturday, scooting down the room with great speed, and I’ve got to tell you – it’s a freaking blast.
Show of hands – who wants to come work at my office?!
