Recovery

Internets, it's been days since last I've seen you. Why, you ask. For Christmas, Santa got me a cold. I really big, mean, nasty one complete with chest congestion, coughing and a loss of my voice. Despite said big, mean, nasty cold, Christmas was enjoyable around here, and I did such a great job feigning health that I don't look dead in any of the pictures that were taken. Thank you, make up, for doing your job.

My sister's been visiting since last Friday, and we've really had a great holiday. It's been busy, but I don't feel like we've really done a lot. We have, however, spent a lot of time with family, and THAT is what it's all about for me.

What about you? How was your holiday?

Glad you've had a good one. Hope you shake the cold!

about the author

Emily (n.) 1983 - Present

A loud-laughing twenty-something female who prefers flip flops to all other shoes, yet has a closet full that go unworn. Can often be found in front of a computer screen designing websites or playing "The Sims". Hates messes, cancelled plans and loud volumes. Loves suffocating summer heat, peanut butter and jelly sandwiches (now with banana) and friends who know what you’re going to say before you ever open your mouth.

Warning: often speaks too quickly; listen carefully.

Where would a girl be without friends? I love 'em for a reason. Stop by. Say hello. Tell them I sent you.
