« WW Week 4: Looking Back | Main | Elf Yourself » Single, Party of TwoMy boss got married this weekend, and all employees were invited. Everyone had a date except for Casandra (whose boyfriend is currently in Iraq) and yours truly. Rather than drag along two guys who we know and love but who we aren't permanently attached to, we went together, and lemme tell you something - we had a blast. We danced and took pictures and really just had a great time.

Emily (n.) 1983 - Present A loud-laughing twenty-something female who prefers flip flops to all other shoes, yet has a closet full that go unworn. Can often be found in front of a computer screen designing websites or playing "The Sims". Hates messes, cancelled plans and loud volumes. Loves suffocating summer heat, peanut butter and jelly sandwiches (now with banana) and friends who know what you’re going to say before you ever open your mouth. Warning: often speaks too quickly; listen carefully.

Last weekend my dad & his wife were down for their yearly December trip to Southern CA (they used to have a house in Palm Desert so I'd have to drive up there to visit, but they sold the house, so now they just come to San Diego).
The best part of having dad & his wife come is that they pay for all sorts of yummy places to eat that I'd never pay for! Except the boyfriend had to go screw things up and try to prove his worth by paying for dinner on Sunday night, which was possibly the most expensive meal we had all weekend, and now I feel slightly guilty and my dad was just annoyed by it.
